Taiwanese businesses will soon be able to hire workers from Myanmar. That’s according to a Bloomberg report.
Bloomberg said that Myanmar’s state-run paper, the New Light of Myanmar, reported that the Myanmar government met with Taiwan’s labor organization in July. The report said that Taiwanese electronic businesses will soon be able to hire Burmese workers.
According to the report, Taiwanese factories will provide workers with a monthly salary of 600,000 Burmese Kyat (US$618).
