A Taiwanese dance group has put on several performances at the World Festival of Folklore Schoten in Belgium.
Taiwanese artists played the Chinese zither and other traditional instruments while singing in Chinese at a mass held at the Saint-Cordula Cathedral. They also put on lion dances on the street and performed aboriginal dances at a nursing home.
This year marks the 56th World Festival of Folklore Schoten. Taiwan is the only Asian country invited to the festival. Artists from Mexico, the United States, Peru, Spain, and Serbia also participated in the event.
