A business match-making event between Taiwanese and Japanese companies is set to take place on July 18th. The economics ministry said Monday that 21 Japanese companies from the information, electronic, and electro-optical industries are scheduled to meet with Taiwanese companies.
Japanese corporations scheduled to attend the event include Field System, which pioneered “soundcode” technology, and Mitani Corporation, whose high-definition image recognition system was used in Japan’s first Mars orbiter in 2003.
The economics ministry said that in addition to Japanese companies, a number of private think tanks, venture capitalists, and local chambers of commerce will also participate in the event.
