Taiwan's Hsieh Su-wei and her Chinese partner Peng Shuai have entered the semi-finals of the French Open tennis tournament. The pair defeated a Zimbabwean-Indian pair 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 Tuesday on day 10 of the games in Paris.
The top-seeded Hsieh-Peng duo took two hours to triumph over fifth-seeded Cara Black and Sania Mirza. Hsieh's previous best at the French Open was her 2009 advancement to the semi-finals of the women's doubles, when she was also teamed with Peng Shuai.
The duo might face fourth-seeded Kveta Peschke and Katarina Srebotnik or Spanish pair Garbine Muguruza and Carla Suárez Navarro in the next round.
