Taiwan’s tourism bureau is set to unveil ten travel itineraries through Taiwan which are geared toward foodies.
The routes will be promoted between July 1 and October 31, offering special rates and showcasing Taiwan’s “beautiful foods and beautiful views”. Each tour will not only highlight local foods, they will also introduce international visitors to nearby attractions.
Beginning on May 15th, restaurants and places offering accommodations can sign up to participate in the tourism initiative for 2015. This is the third year in a row that the tourism bureau is offering these special itineraries for foodies.
The bureau will hold forums in north, central, southern and eastern Taiwan to explain the program to businesses in the tourism and hospitality sector, beginning on April 27.
