Vietnamese news outlet Dantri News is reporting that all passengers on a Vietnam Airlines flight bound for Taiwan are safe after their plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
Vietnam Airlines flight 578 was en route from Hanoi’s Noi Bai Airport to Taiwan Wednesday evening when the oil pressure system gave pilots a low pressure warning. The captain of the Airbus A-321 turned the plane around and landed in Hanoi without incident. There were 141 passengers on board.
According to Dantri News, the aircraft was delivered to Vietnam Airlines in November 2012 and had just passed routine checks on March 26.
