The Siraya Life: Fly with You event at the Siraya National Scenic Area in Tainan kicked off on Saturday, with a colorful hot air balloon experience as the lead event.
Tourists lined up early in the morning for a ride in a tethered balloon overlooking the beautiful grasslands from a high altitude. Two women shared their thoughts, saying that even though they are up much higher than they expected, and they are afraid of heights, the scenery is beautiful and worth the thrill. Another rider said the excitement and view even made her emotional.
An adorable Formosan black bear balloon was the star of the show, with many people waiting especially for a ride in its basket or one with a viewpoint to take its picture.
With the weather mild and steady, the hot air balloon experience was a hit over the weekend. Continuing through to May 4, the Siraya festival will also feature live music performances, a marketplace, a pet sports competition, and more, so don’t let this opportunity for a great time fly away!
