Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang (黃仁勳) has indicated that the company’s plans to establish an overseas headquarters in Taiwan might be revealed at the upcoming COMPUTEX trade show in May. During a press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Huang acknowledged that the current office space in Taiwan is insufficient to accommodate its growing workforce, necessitating a search for a more suitable location.

Speculation about potential headquarters sites is growing, particularly the former Taipei First Funeral Parlor. This 600-square-meter site offers strategic benefits, including a five-minute drive to the airport and three-minute access to the highway. Local leaders report that Nvidia representatives have started preliminary discussions about this location.

During the CES conference, Huang discussed Nvidia's collaboration with MediaTek on the GB10 superchip for Project DIGITS. This partnership focuses on areas like self-driving vehicles, with Huang praising the GB10's exceptional performance and energy efficiency. The chip is essential for Project DIGITS, which enables users to develop and execute model inference on desktop systems.

Despite concerns about trade tensions with the upcoming U.S. presidential transition, Huang remained optimistic about the administration’s decisions and reaffirmed Nvidia's dedication to customer service.
