His participation alongside his 19-year-old protege Kao Cheng-Jui (高承睿). Chuang's six Olympic appearances have led him to the profound realization: "Sports unite the hearts of Taiwanese people."

Chuang has had a remarkable career that spans from the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games to the 2024 Paris Olympics. He has participated in seven Asian Games and holds the record for the most Olympic appearances by a Taiwanese athlete, having competed in six. In the 2024 Paris Olympics, he only participated in the team event, as Kao represented Taiwan in the singles competition. Chuang mentioned that when Kao is playing, it feels like he himself is playing.

Chuang hopes Kao and other young players can perform well and engage with international competition, believing that good results will naturally follow. The Paris Olympic table tennis venue saw an outpouring of attendance and support from Taiwanese fans. Chuang noted that their enthusiasm made it feel like playing on home turf. Reflecting on his 26-year journey, he stated that Taiwanese often come together through sports, and that Taiwan is a country where everyone can strive to be better.
