Taiwanese veteran sports shooter Lin Yi-chun (林怡君) is set to make her fifth Olympic appearance at this year's Paris 2024 Olympics. With a career spanning 27 years, Lin has competed in seven Asian Games and won numerous world championships. However, despite her achievements, she has yet to win an Olympic medal.
Lin’s preparation for this year’s Olympics is comprehensive and she emphasizes the importance of giving her all and cherishing every shot. The 40-year-old athlete, who began shooting in high school, now values each competition more than ever as she knows that injuries or other circumstances could affect her sporting career at any time.
Lin will be accompanied by her coach and her husband, Tsai Chi-cheng (蔡志成) and additionally has the support of a full team including a sports psychologist, physical trainer, and sports injury specialist.
