Taiwan’s National Palace Museum recently announced that it will send more than 100 cultural artifacts to the Czech Republic come September 2025. The relics, which will include the Jadeite cabbage, will be part of an exhibition called “100 Objects, 100 Stories: Treasures from the National Palace Museum”. Museum Deputy Director Huang Yung-tai (黃永泰) stated that he is looking forward to continuing collaboration and Taiwan-Czechia cultural exchanges.

This comes on the heels of the museum's recent participation in the 2024 “Taiwan Expo in Europe” where Taiwan cooperated with the iconic Humboldt Forum in Berlin, Germany. During the Expo, the museum hosted the “Majestic Equines: Immersive National Palace Museum'' digital exhibition, which proved to be very popular among European visitors.

Huang met with representatives of the EU, Germany, and Belgium to discuss the progression of arts and cultural promotion, as well as the possibility of future collaborations. The National Palace Museum has said that the goal of using exhibitions as a form of dialogue is to inspire Taiwan and other countries to enthusiastically participate in further exchanges worldwide.
