The Labor Ministry announced the 2022 migrant worker employment agencies evaluation results on their website on Tuesday. The yearly evaluation is conducted to secure the rights of employers and foreign workers, strengthen the management of employment agencies, and ensure improvement in the quality of services.
Of more than 1,200 agencies evaluated, 795 (or around 65%) received an A grade, 372 agencies (or close to 30%) received a B grade and 64 agencies (or about 5%) received a C grade. Migrant worker employment agencies that receive a C grade twice in their evaluation may result in a rejection of the renewal of their agency license.
The results have been posted on the Workforce Development Agency website and can be used as a reference for Taiwanese employers looking for employment agencies. Employers can look up additional information such as services being provided or fees being charged as well. The public can also call 02-89956000 for more information.
