Foxconn is one of Taiwan’s most valuable companies. It recently held its annual Tech Day in Taipei, featuring a special guest appearance.

Hon Hai Technology Group, also known as Foxconn, held its fourth annual Tech Day in Taipei on Wednesday, featuring a very special guest. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang appeared on stage with Foxconn Chairman and CEO Young Liu (劉揚偉) to announce their deeper collaboration.
The two companies had already announced their project to build a new autonomous vehicle platform for electric cars. But the new announcement involves what Huang calls “AI factories”, illustrated in a chart that Huang says he drew himself. Data from the cars will be in constant communication with data processing centers, sending and receiving information in real-time, improving the cars’ self-driving capabilities.
However, aside from the business announcement, the presentation also included tech CEO-level banter and playing to the local audience.
