Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang is visiting Taiwan for the second time this year. He is planning to meet with local suppliers and partners according to Economic Minister Wang Mei-hua (王美花).
Wang said that Huang’s visit could showcase Taiwan’s supply chain and create more AI business opportunities. When asked whether the Economic Ministry will meet with Nvidia’s CEO, Wang told reporters that there are no planned meetings, but she looks forward to his visit. She added that as a frontrunner in the AI industry, Huang’s visit to Taiwan will have a positive impact.
Huang was spotted meeting with cloud computing and notebook manufacturer Quanta Group’s executives on Monday.
