According to the airport’s traffic volume forecast, nearly 44,000 inbound passengers and 46,000 outbound passengers are expected. In addition, there are more than 18,000 inbound and outbound transit passengers with a total of 553 aircraft in total taking off and landing.
The airport says that the highest single-day passenger volume for this year never exceeded 110,000. However, the airport’s estimates for Thursday’s total passenger volume exceeded 110,000, setting a new high this year. Thursday marked the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival holidays in Taiwan.
