Shares in Taiwan closed above the 9,200-point mark Thursday as investor confidence was boosted by a strong showing on Wall Street overnight and an optimistic forecast for the United States economy.
Taiwan shares closed up 157.94 points, or 1.73%, at 9,238.03.
