Shares in Taiwan fell Monday as investors stayed on the sidelines due to a delay in a review of capital gains tax on major stock market players.
The weighted index, the market's key barometer of the Taiwan Stock Exchange, closed down 19.28 points, or 0.2 percent, at 9,187.29 on turnover of NT$91.87 billion (US$2.95 billion).
