Expectations that the legislature plans to lower capital gains taxes on earnings from the stock market spurred a rebound in Taiwan’s stock market on Wednesday.
The weighted index on the Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up140.47 points, or 1.55%, at 9,175.26.
