Taiwan comes in the middle of an international ranking of English proficiency. That’s according to the latest report by Education First, a company that sells English courses.
The report shows that Taiwan ranked 30th among the 63 non-English speaking countries and regions worldwide surveyed by the company. Taiwan came at the bottom of a group ranked between 19th and 31st. This group also included Hong Kong, South Korea, India, Japan, and Indonesia.
Denmark came at the top of the ranking, followed by the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Poland, and Austria. Malaysia and Singapore are the leaders in English proficiency in Asia. Taiwan was ranked 7th in Asia.
