Taiwan can expect a change in the warm, sunny weather this coming week. The Central Weather Bureau said on Sunday that a cold front is likely to arrive on Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures and rain to northern Taiwan.
Meteorologists say that the storm front is likely to bring stronger seasonal northeasterly winds. They say that the island could see rain in other areas as well, including eastern, central and southern Taiwan.
As for temperatures, forecasters say that the mercury could reach 25 degrees on Wednesday, before dipping to 20 degrees Celsius. The cold front is expected to last until next weekend.
